The Museum of Flight is the home base for the airworthy Messerschmitt aircraft cooperation of the Messerschmitt Foundation with Airbus. They range from a replica of the M 17 from 1925 up to the HA 200 of 1966 and a replica of the Me 262 from the year 1942. Overall, it’s a unique collection of eight machines that bear the name Messerschmitt. They will get as many machines as possible and economically feasible in an airworthy condition. Restoration, maintenance and flight operations take place in the Messerschmitt Museum of Flight at Airbus Defence and Space location and airfield in Manching, Bavaria.
