The history of the Czech Police Aviation Department began in 1935. The Czech Police has its main base at Prague Airport. The CPAD the operator of the helicopters has a special police, rescue and medical equipment. This unit is responsible for air support throughout the territory of the Czech Republic. The company performs air support of the police, firefighting, rescue operations and HEMS.
