Aquila Aviation International GmbH, based in Schönhagen, was founded in 1996 develops and produces the single-engine Aquila 211 ultra light aircraft in the purpose-built production building. Beside Germany, the distribution of this aircraft takes place in Europe, USA and Australia. Furthermore, the maintenance and repair of aircraft as well as the CAMO are carried out.
